Default 04.5 Cummins issue's need help!

Ok here it goes, About a month ago I started to get a little white smoke at start up and a rough Idle for about 20-30 seconds, and it only does it after about 8hrs of sitting. That seems to have stopped. Then it seemed to be loosing a little power compaired to the seat of the pants that I remember. Then it started to be a dog and would build boost slow, and once it hit about 28psi it sounded like a major air leak and would not build boost past 30-33 psi. The turbo is a II thunder 330 and only about a year old. So I check everywhere for leaks and only find a small leak near the heater grid, new gasket and good to go. Nope nothing. So seemed like the noise was coming from the passanger side of the motor, still found nothing. Took the turbo off to check the wastegate and it appeared it was sticking open a bit, cleaned it all up nice and pretty re-installed and partial fix but still will only build about 35lbs boost and at 30 it sounds like something leaking again and power goes flat.

Does anybody have any idea's?

Injectors are only about 6 months old from II, this is my 3rd set of injectors!!
Turbo is only a year old

Prior to the problems it would build 50lbs boost no problem and I would let out of it also so I didnt pop my head since I dont have studs yet.

EGT's are up about 200 degrees more than normal and will max the gauge in seconds

Does this sound like more of a fuel issue or an air/intake system issue.

This damn truck is going to make me bankrupt!!

Do an ohm test on the injectors. Mine would start and run rough at idle. I hold the throttle for 15 sec and it cleared up. Finally did an ohm test and number 2 injector was at 1.4. The rest were at .6 and .7

As far as your boost issue, may have a crack in your plastic tube that comes off the intercooler to your intake horn.

Well so far I have found that my internal wastegate was stuck partially open, I got it freed up but still doesn't seem to be sealing all the way, I'm going to pull the turbo back out and try to complete a pressure test on it. I still haven't had time to check the injectors but will attempt it soon, unfortunately my truck eats injectors for breakfast so it could possibly be part of the problem. All of my tube's and boot's look good, stock, but good at this point. Any other ideas out there?
