cummins actin weird

cummins actin weird
05 cummins in 5th gear if i lay into the throttle hard it will "backfire" through the turbo shut the truck down and then pick it back up. it did this to me 2x over this past weekend. rpms around 2700. going to work yesterday truck kinda stuttered a few times didnt think much bout it then it shut off on me completely. it only cranks wont start. i tried hooking a scan tool up to it but it wouldnt read the codes. none of my gauges work but the indicator lights do work. could my computer have went bad? what would cause the turbo to "backfire"

it wont even do that now. i tried it the day it happened it wouldnt do it. saturday it kicked the cel on and brought up codes that i wrote down. P0524, 0217, 0514, 2509, 2146, 0341. Oil pressure just a touch below 40psi coolant temp never above 200. im lost checked all grounds and all are good. could my computer went bad?

0524 low oil press
0217 engine over heat
0514 battery temp
2146 injector circuit
0341 cam sensor
at this point i wouldnt worry about the first 3 codes, sounding to me like the reason for the no start condition is going to be the cam sensor and the missing is an injector shorting out
swap the cam and crank sensors with each other and see if the code moves from cam to crank that will tell ya if its bad without buying a sensor and trying it
take the valve cover and injector harness off and ohm the injectors should read less then 1 ohm if they are good, i'm going to bet one of them is high, just had this happen to one of my personal trucks turned out it was injector #2
i would try those things first and see if you can get it to start at least, i highly doubt the ECM is bad not saying that it dosnt happen just it dosnt happen much and it shouldnt have thrown the cam/injector codes

its starting now. took the neg batt cables off and let the computer reset and it starts. still aint acting rite tho its goin to the chrysler garage tomorrow.
