6.0 NEW EGR & Oil cooler no Power
So I have an 05 F250 6.0 changed the EGR and oil cooler fired it up took it for a ride and still acts like it has the bad EGR cooler. It burned a little white exhaist when I first started it but nothing like when the EGR cooler was leaking. I'm beginning to think that all though I don't have the tell tale white oil ot oil in my anifreeze that perhaps I have a blown headgasket? The truck will take right off too 30mph and the turbo spools right up, but RPMs are coming up to 3k at 35mph. ANY ideas

Need more info here bud.... Please see this link:
Typically when a headgasket goes in a 6.0 the oil and coolant almost NEVER mix. Usually it'll just push it out the coolant reservoir. Do you have white residue around the bottle/cap area? If you blew an EGR cooler it could be as simple as replacing that cap. They should always be replaced if they have had coolant blown out of them. Are you sure it's not just residual coolant burning off? Does it keep doing it?
Are you even sure it's coolant? Next time you fire the truck up, try and smell that smoke. Is it sweet like coolant, or does it burn the eyes like fuel? If it's fuel, we will head in a different direction. Check that and get back to us.
For future reference (and for now I guess...) Read here, this is the info we need to help diagnose better: https://www.dieselbombers.com/ford-p...questions.html
