Good morning, I know this is not the best way to start off as a noob...but I am driving across country and either have a lift pump or VP failure. It is Sunday, does anyone have reccomendations on shops to take it too, knowledge of someone in the area, or willing to lend a hand?

Thanks for the reply. I ended up changing all the fuel filters which gave it another life, but lost all pressure shortly there after...so we made the decision to run it easy and try to get as far as I could get it. Ended up in Sterling, CO about 100 miles from home (Denver) till the rest of the system went. Got it to a diesel garage, now waiting on the diagnosis, but pretty sure its VP and lift pump. (white smoke and bucking)
