Default Neighbors are complaining about smoke.

I drive a 97 F350 7.3lt. 1000 miles ago I broke down in no where and had to have my High Pressure Oil Pump replaced. I picked up the truck and it ran fine. Now from start up to shut down It's putting out blue white smoke like crazy. It acts and responds like its loading up a couple of cylinders. If I stand on the fuel it will clean out and excelerate about 3000 rpm but goes right back to smokeing and no power as soon as I let off. It has 240,000 miles and to my knowledge is still running the original OEM injectors. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking a couple bad injectors myself.

How much oil is it using? It might also be the injector o-rings. It will use a lot of oil if that is it.

Quite a bit, 1 quart per 1000 miles. No noise like engine knocking.

One quart per thousand is not too far out of line. It might have a little leakage but in this case it sounds like bad injectors is more likely.
