Default Blower motor?

I was driving home Yesterday from Wheeling and I was noticing that the A/C blower was making alot of noise but not putting out alot of air flow. Is there a cab filter in these trucks like the Chevs do? I didn't sound like there was anything broken just loud. I was Hauling a truck camper and towing a Jeep on a trailer if that makes a diffrence.

I don't show a cabin filter in my books. Wish they did though.

You can get a cab filter through Geno's but they don't come factory with one. Sounds like your losing your blower motor. Bearings are probably going out. Some folks drill a little hole in the housing and shoot some WD40 in there and it may prolong the replacement. Once they put enough drag on the motor then it will also blow the resistor, that's another $50 to add on. I went through 3 resistors before I finally figured out that the fan was bad.

The motor sounds like its spinning but it just not giving the air flow. example the flow is like on the slowest setting when set to high. I can hear a change in speed when i change speeds and when in hi the fan sounds like it is really a ripping but no flow, I'll have to check it out better. I was hanging and tired driving yesterday. BTW finished my trailer last week tows great.

It's an easy project to pull the fan and check it all out. Just a couple of screws and unplug the wire bundle. This would also give you some room to check for blockages.

Be sure and post photo's of the trailer.
