I have a 2006 6.0 that has 131,000 miles, egr delete, stc updated fitting, updated dummy plugs and stand pipes, and sct tuner. About a month ago the truck would randomly die while idling or driving at speeds below 45 mph. The truck, if rolling fast enough, would restart itslef. If it was idling and died i had no problems restarting it. I thought the issue was the fuel filters. I changed them out and the issue consisted. so i checked my CEL's and they were the two CEL's for removing the egr and P0672 open circuit on number 2 glow plug.
After scouring the internet for solutions i decided to change out the crankshaft and camshaft sensors, no luck. a week went by and the dieing got worse. Sometimes the truck would die and wouldnt restart until i cleared the trouble codes.
Then today I updated the dummy plugs and stand pipes, thinking that maybe i had a high pressure oil leak. Also while i had the truck apart i changed out the number 2 glow plug and replaced the glow plug harness on the driver side. After all this, I put the truck back together and now it will not start. Fuel pump comes on, injectors click away, but no starting. It just turns and turns and turns. Also the same CEL's come up for the egr and P0672 glow plug 2 open circuit. Any ideas on what it could be. I need this truck running in a bad way.
