99 chevy k3500 stalling
Okay guys I'm a new member long time reader.
what I have is a 1999 Chevy k3500 6.5 turbo 139,000 miles. stock motor as far as i can tell with an k&n filter on it. Fuel filters were changed 15-20,000 miles ago this truck is my daily driver with the occasional heavy tow about every 2-3 months. I have my egt, trans, boost gauges.
all gauges read normal. i have no check engine light on.
It stalled three times in the last month with 5 times yesterday. when it was running everything felt fine, good acceleration, even between the time it was stalling.
the stalling has happened idling after accelerating no know trigger. To me it sounds like a pmd but before I spend the 500 for a PMD and relocation kit from Kennedy’s I thought I would ask for advice

What would bring you to your conclusion that it is or could be the PMD?
What your are describing in your post sounds like you have already found your problem, you could also check to see if there is loose connector and or water damage, I’m not sure, but I think you can take the pump mounted driver to the dealer and ask them to check, not sure if they will.

I suspect its the pmd because of the abrubtness that its started. It seems to only happen when its getting hot and not alot of airflow but the temp guage is reading normal. however it has happend while driving. I don't believe its fuel filter because when its running its running good. it had stalled a few times before ran perfect for two weeks and then yesterday it just shut off when i had left it running while i picked my daughter up from daycare. I then drove a quarter mile snd it shut off while driving. then at a light. and then finally it started again and I made it the 20 mile drive home at 55 mph running fine. I started it last night to move it. It started up fine moved it and it shut off fine.
all lights remained on in the dash. it just felt like the fuel was just shut off. what else would give me those symptoms
