Alright it's gonna be a long story but I'm gonna shorten it as much as possible !
I've got a 06 megacab 90,000k I only drive it on the weekends. Out one weekend in it it started singing high tranny temp and just shut off it got worse and worse ( meaning it did it once then 5 mi later then 3 no then 1 no then 100 yrs) I got it home changed tranny fluid and filter took it out it did it again I shot pan cooler inlet andoutlet everything was nice and cool changed the governor sensor out tightened bands in tranny same issue. Sent my ecm off they found corridor transformers ?? Replaced them said it was good to go I had a mp8 and smarty stacked pulled the mp8 and put stock tune back in. Checked resistance on all grounds ( ecm and batterys) pulled harness from ecm to tranny cleaned all connections all wiring looked good adwell as connectors put a little dielectric grease in connectors still the same issue. It has gotten better but one day you can drive 20mi with no issues and the next day 1/2 a mile and it dies. It has a goerend tranny with a shift selector the dodge house unwired the shift selector and it still dies but doesn't flag high tranny temp now? But then again they also told me it was doing this bc of all the chips and programmers it has on it help me please!

The way I understand it the governor sensor also takes the tranny temp?I was told it's like a processor? And I have changed that? I called the dodge house looking to buy one to put in and the guy told me I was after the governor sensor?

I had the same thing happen with my 2004 3500 company truck minus the high trans temp. It didnt throw any codes and would die going down the road. It would always start right back up then do it again. It was the injection pump.

Hmm I would think it would throw a code for fuel psi if it was the inj pump? All the codes it's thrown have been loss of communication and a bunch of others I don't know exactly what they all were? A friend told me his brothers truck was doin the same thing but the whole dash would light up and it was bc his battery for the keyless entry was dead? I'm tryin that next!!!!
