Default I WILL be specific!

2006 Ford 6.0 176,00 mi.
The following have been replaced in the last 50K mi. : Oil cooler, HP oil Pump, all injectors, HP fuel rail plugs, EGR W/Bypass.
Grey smoke and rough idle.
Heavy black smoke on acceleration, with no apparent power loss.
Knocks under heavy load.
1 gallon approx. more oil than max. (I did not do the oil change!)

Anyone?

My mechanic can changed the Oil Cooler out in 1.5 hrs. He is top notch. He worked for Ford Fleet on nothing but the 6.0, but he is unavailable at present. :-(
