that stuff works pretty good. eastwood company also sells its own brand that is a little cheaper and works good too.

the best way to use this stuff is to paint it after it's on. it doesn't hold up to uv or road salt very good on its own.

the stuff works great, but like said before dont get it on anything that you dont want it on, it wont come off, including your skin. also dont put it on something that will be in direct sunlight, its sensative to UV rays and will fade very quickly

I agree.....have used the POR-15--very important to do the entire process as not doing so will yield crappy results--the Rust Bullet, and Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator.

Rust Bullet was the best. Not cheap, but worked the best. FWIW....

I luv the rust bullet. I've used it on several trailers. It was kinda iffy in the beginning cause paint just didn't want to stick to it for the long term. But now they have their own paint to go with it and the results are great. No more havin to fight with all the surface prep for that little bit a rust before you can paint. Price on it, well that's a nother matter. In my case I figured my time had a price on it in those days and the prep work it saved me cut several hours off my time, now days I'd have to think about it a little harder.

I used a product called zero rust. I love the stuff. It doesn't chip off or peel like POR. If you join Welcome To Autobodystore.com They sell Zero Rust for $50. Gallon. Lots of guys have switched from POR to Zero Rust & won't go back. Here is some info from Len, he used POR a long time before switching.

take it from a body man por 15 dont get it on you hands and were a mask. there trying to ban it in some areas because depending were you live it has chromeite in it to disolve the rust. por 15 is just ok you can buy allot better stuff out there rm and ppg make a product simar but without the chromeite, chromite is nasty stuff just like lead paint. find out ten 20 years later it gives you cancer. One big problem with por 15 is if you have allot of rust will only make it look good for a little while. sometimes comes off in sheets saw a car out here a guy sanded it just ok had a tonnnnnn of rust this is when por 15 had start comeing out more guy painted the whole car. its comeing off like driveway sealer off his car. seen it a few times in differnt cases. you want a cheap fix go to home depot get a can of primer that you brush on that says on the can adhears to rust then get a can for what ever color you want to paint it its cheaper faster and easier.
