anyone have a real good way to remove decals that have been on for 10 plus years. didn't really tear into it yet looking for advice before i make a permant mistake. they were installed by previous owner and we have slightly diff. tastes HELP!!!!!!! ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

you can use that product or i like to use a product called Goo Gone works well on paint. Someone thought it would be funny if they duct taped my truck one day needless to say when i was done you couldnt tell either way what happened -

I have used Aceatone I believe thats how you spell it. Old lady has it for her nails it works good just get off the most you can then take a rag and put that on and use it. -

For removing decals, I've had good luck with using either a heat gun or hairdryer to warm them up and soften the adhesive, then once you get it peeled off, use WD-40 on a soft cloth to get the residual adhesive off. Once all that's done, it's a good idea to apply a light polish and wax where the decals were, and if need be wash and wax the whole truck. - |

I had a company truck that was relabeled 3 times in 2 years due to company buy outs and I had to take off the old decals each time and this is by far the best method I have used. The hair dryer works great at getting them loosened up and they peel right off. - |
