well it turns out that "goo gone" seems to work darn good with a lot of hard scrubbin and sore finger nails. thanks all for the help!!!!

Yeah u can use glass cleaner. Did it on my 91 cummins -

i use strong fishing line to remove the badges. Then a 3m eraser wheel to remove the glue. Then buff the rest out because the paint will be a different color.; -
