2 stroke mix oil
Im just now learning about owners running 2 stroke oil in their fuel. I have read 100:1 is about the average. Ive had diesels for better than 20 years, fuel quality is terrible in my opinion. It has been -20 degrees here for the last4 mornings and if someone had straight #2, well they didnt have a very good start to their day. If they started at all. I blend 1&2 to make sure mine starts. I also use Howes and plug it in at night.
Back to what I was originally wondering, is the 2 stroke oil making a difference? Will it aid our ailing fuel and save our pumps and injectors? I love the knowledge that is shared on this site. Thank you.

I use it, about 8 oz per tank (26 gal) I also use the Power Service winter and haven't had a single issue in four years and 60,000 miles. It gets cold here in Wisconsin and no issues.
I worried a bit when I added my lift pump since it sits under the truck bed and is in the elements but like i said no problem. good luck!
