Hi
Name is Steve, I am retired (well sorta) Have 96 Dodge 2500 4wd Cummins 12V 148kmiles, previously had 91 250 ram 4wd diesel manual trans 150kmiles. Really liked the 91 rode like it had no suspension, but could start from dead stop in 3rd gear with ease, what a beast. Totaled it when compact ran into me head on, got artificial hip from that, got new 2500 with auto trans cause didn't think I could push in the clutch with hip, dumb move!
interested in making a little more smoke with the 96 on the cheap as time and budget permits, real love is Kubota articulated diesel I am making from two F2000 tractors, needs turbo to run my 5 foot snow blower (made that too). Diesel, hydrostatic, hydraulics, noise, big tires whats not to like! Tim Allen (more power) has a summer home around here somewhere, maybe will run into him one day.
Wife and I run B&B Leelanau County Mi. meet a lot of great people that way, not many diesel guys however.
Really enjoy this site, expect to learn a lot.
