New Round These Parts
Good afternoon everyone! I am new round here and just wanted to say howdy!
My name is Brant - I am from Oklahoma and heard about the site from a member who PM'd me on another diesel site. I am married (going on 6 yrs), with 2 sons (2yrs last month, and 6 months on Christmas). We own a 2001 Ford F250 7.3L Diesel - Crew Cab, Short bed truck (as if you didn't already know by my username  )Anyway - I am a pipeline controller and spend my 12 hr shifts in front of a bunch of computer screens, so you may see me here a lot  But, without further adeu -- here is the reason for me being here! (what she looked like when we bought her, and after a little bit of a face lift and weight reduction)       -

Meh, no worries - my lil ole PSD won't begin to stack up to you Duramax and Cummins fella's in - but we love her and she looks good

haha, gotcha -- I like the Aggies, well, and Tech too. They are actually schools you can usually respect, unlike UT. :ray:
I went to school at OU for a couple years until I had to transfer to a smaller/cheaper school. But they are still my team!  Hope ya can forgive me :P -

I"m a little weird because I actually like any team from Texas, OK, and LA. I went to the US Naval Academy and A&M so I'm kinda partial to the Brigade and the Aggies. -

)I must say that I don't really want to quote the #'s my truck "posted" on that dyno you see up there. It seems the #'s were not correct as supposedly my truck put down 255 HP with 101K miles on it when a stock 01 7.3L is rated at 250 @ the crank  Lets just say I wasted my $75, accept for the opportunity to run on a dyno! I can post all sorts of pictures if ya want though !!!! -

ya someone had the wrong parameters in there for that truck..... i always like the Dynojet i run on.... it's the only Nascar approved Dyno because you can't adjust anything that will make the HP differ. it takes it's reading and what it says is what it is........ and it accurately did my HP.... twice the stock crank power at the wheels....
