whats up guys im kinda new to the whole diesel thing. ANY TIPS on what to do for power and reliability is welcome. Bought my truck new almost a year ago and i have to say diesels are NUTS! the power incredible. 2006 5.9L 24V cummins mainly stock....4 inch straight to 6 inch stacks, just recently diablo sport power puck/ preditor combo...thats it! -

welcome..... there's alot of good info on here..... don't hesitate to ask a question..... are you doing anything aftermarket for fuel supply? like a FASS? that would be my next step if i were you. anyway.... kick back and relax -

I'd have to agree you next purchase should be a good set of gauges. -

It is a lift pump ,it assist the cp3(factory fuel pump), some have filters, they help to keep the desired fuel pressure to the fuel rail. -

Fuel Air Seperation System

it's THE top of the line fuel system for ANY diesel. VERY RELIABLE and comes with a 6 year warranty. it is head over heels better than that fuel pump they put in from the factory..... it's a little pricey but knowing that you will have more than enought fuel to burn and your injection pump won't die due to low fuel pressure it is well worth it.... -

would anyone recommend transmission upgrades? im only running the programmer on the 2nd setting but would like to kick up to extreme rkl, but being a fairly new truck i dont want to break somthin, i can hardly aford to put fuel in this bad boy at 3.60 a gallon -
