your not kidding about the shortage. All these truck driving school graduates need some lessons from the old school drivers. -

Default thanks for the flowers

i gotta say- i was touched by the warm welcome from you folks-sniff sniff--dont wanna sound too sappy

since i been sick i just lay around and watch the tube and read a lot- borinng as hell

you can be alive without living

sold ou my businesses for a lot of cabbage, but between bad loans, investments and gifts to charities i aint got much left-wanted to leave more to my kids

i would like to drop in on this site -but frankly the website is really confusing
where do you go to just go to a regular chat room w/ regular folks-maybe proffesional steerin wheel holders, or just fans of d trucks

i lived em since i was a kid-actually started hauling air frt at 16 yrs old around jfk, newark , philly and lga in nyc-worked for the -um italian american social organizations-so the lack of a real d/l wasnt an issue
moved away at 21 to colorado and became an o/o with a 82 frtliner cabover- 33" bunk, no air, no power steering, no air ride- reel teeth rattler-you wore your seatbelt so your head didnt hit the ceiling

maybe someone could direct me to a cool chatroom as a regular hangout-i still have a bad %ss ford 2005 f250 with a 5 ft stretch to accomodate a custom 48" sleeper w/ dvd and tv- also a genset 5kw 3 cyl cummins watercooled to run a roof a/c-htr- the bunk has an a/c unit that runs off the main pwrplant while in motion, but i put the genset/roof rig in when the anti idling laws started being enforced
any way- time for meds-sucks to be 1/2 dead at 48- i retired a millionaire at 44- and was retired 5 mos before i got sick-its been 4 1/2 yrs of pain, docs ,meds and 23 hospital stays ever since

like to chat w some of you fellas -and gals- especially gals
so if theres a decent chat rm there i'd appreciate a recommendation

y'all drive careful-shiny side up-greasyside down -

Here's a shortcut to the chat room: http://www.dieselbombers.com/addonchat.php

The actual link is on the bottom nav bar on top of the page. It'll say chat room with a number in brackets sometimes, one left of the log out link. -
