I have a 2005 cummins and the other day my fuel gauge just all of a sudden quit. I am going to be pulling my trailer in a couple of weeks but I don't know if everything else will be fine. Everything else seems to be working properly but I don't want to be stranded. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -

check the connections on top of the tank, should be able to reach up an feel them. That is if it is stock. See if it is corroded or loose. I would check that first before you take it to a shop. -

I filled the truck up today and the gauge read 3/4 full. I don't know how but it is off by a 1/4 tank. does anyone know if it is a float in the tank? -
