i have a manifold pressure map sensor go out on my cummins and i was reading on here can i clean it and make it work be cause there not a cheap part to replace the cheapest one i found was two hundred -... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

yeah you can clean it, i think they say to use a carb cleaner...

If you use isopropl alcohol it will ensure that you dont leave a residue on the sensor and cause it to give false readings. I've heard of that happening before but havent experienced it myself.
