hey all, aint got a diesel yet. figured on some learning first. leaning towards a 2nd gen 12v cummins. got a boatload of questions to plug into the search, but if anyone has some especially informative threads on those trucks, i want to see them. having never owned a diesel, or a car newer than '77, the learning curve may be steep. i am hoping for help with things to be afraid of when buying one, good cheap beginner mods.......you know, stuff a cherry needs to learn. thanks -

Just read around in the powerstroke, cummins and duramax sections. You'll find a bunch of good info on each there. Should give you an idea of common problems also. -
