Default Hello from Kansas

Hi everybody.

I'm a newbie to the diesel but have been a shade tree mech since I was about 15. My learning vehicle was a 63 Impala with a 283 two barrel two speed, boy what a good one to learn on! Anyways I just got my first diesel powered auto a couple months back that was immediately struck with catastrophic damage. Looking around this forum, it seems to be by far the most informative, helpful site for diesels on the net with good people to boot. Having my current problem and an interest to learn I think I'll be here awhile.

Thanks for having me
Jim -
