i just got my first diesel. its a 1995 7.3L powerstroke i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the silencer from the turbo...also, if i have regular 3 1/2" pipes going to 6" stacks will it effect the power in any way?

welcome,I'm not sure if powerstroke turbos have silencer rings.But,you can look by pulling off the turbo intake tube.Look into the turbo intake housing.Look for a ring,Then look for a snap ring.If their is,remove the snap ring with a couple flat screwdrivers.Then reach in a slide out silencer. -

That pipe size probably won't make much difference in power if you're running straight pipe, but it won't be as loud for sure. -
