I don't plan to go into the bottom end (100,000 miles) but am looking to buy head studs. I may also key the cam. The fun part will be deciding what to do about the turbo. I am thinking maybe a BD Supermax or perhaps twins, what do you all think? I use the truck daily and tow moderate loads up steep long hills. I'll keep to stock RPM but would like more torque from through the whole band. I've been running a superchip on 2 with a boost bleeder running about 27 psi max. - |

Welcome To DieselBombers SledHead!
Id Say ARP Studs and MPI Twins would be the way to go. - |

Welcome. Studs and twins (sounds like a porno), rods and pistons if it is in the budget. Since it is down, build a good base to add onto later when the small twins just aren't enough anymore. -
