Default hard starting issue PLEASE HELP!

i have a 1999 dodge cummins 24 valve. the truck is hard to start after sitting for a couple of hours. i installed a new lift pump from pennsicola deisel the upgraded version, also installed a new injection pump from pennsicola. still having the hard start issue after the truck sits for a couple of hours. I have been checking for leaks in the lines and haven't been able to locate any visible issues. the truck runs great after it is started. i have been driving the truck for two weeks now since installing the new pumps hoping if there was any air in the lines it would bleed itself out, but no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated. -

Is your fuel filter new? Does it prime up easy after you change it? -

yes i tried calling pennsicola about the problem they said to check the fuel line from the tank to the lift pump for leaks. the fuel line looks great no sign of leaks, i also changed the fuel filter and it did prime up easy with no problems. -

Just thank American multi-nationals in collusion with your political party. That’s right, both Democrats and Republicans sold you out. That’s because you’ve never met a poor politician. All politicians are watching their bottom lines, not yours. They never cared about you, they just wanted your vote, now they are rich and you are not. Game over.

By the "upgraded version", do you mean the in-tank pump?
Usually the fuel lines won't show leakage, but can allow air into the system.
Are you starting it properly? Turn the key on and wait for the WTS light to go out. That should also allow time for the lift pump to pressurize the system.
Also, are the grid heaters working? Do you see a draw on the voltmeter before starting and a fluctuation after starting? -
