You work for Banks Dont ya??

It is horsepower if your in the right setup, now these kids who just want smoke yes that is a waste as in making the smoke switch on our 24v's that is just for the wow factor but gives you no performance what so ever...now you show me a full blown pullin truck that doesnt blow black smoke and can run with the big boys (Smokenya, Off Constantly, BBD, Razor's Edge) then you will prove your point but until then to make horsepower in a diesel you have to add fuel and hope that you can match it with enough air, but we all know that is pretty much impossible...We do owe black smoke though to the growing number of people owning diesels and let us have this great website and all the others like it(wait there are none like this anywhere ) Now most of us here loved diesels before they were the "cool" thing to have i hate being part of a FAD but i love diesels so im staying...One good thing about fuel prices being high is it has separated the "posers" from the real diesel lovers, i know there are some out there just couldnt afford to drive em anymore.

Any how welcome to DB -

My truck Smokes....And it's not wasted power......After Both Jets Kick it's nice and clean.
In many cases unburnt fuel is required to get a large charger moving. Your not going to see a problem with loosing power unless you have WAY to much fuel , the 12v's are real easy to over fuel and run under the charger. You might do some research, You'll find yes, black smoke is unburnt fuel but it also requires unburnt fuel in some of the Higher HP applications! -
