Default First Diesel, First DMAX, First Tow Soon!

Things have been friendly so far at this site, and that's an assuring thing. My "practice" tow was only a few miles, and the RV brakes were very touchy. Turns out I have an old
version of a good brand of monitor (think that's what's it's called). I hope that my soon to be experiences will enable me to be of help.

I have a 2003 Silverado, 2500 HD, 2x4, Ext. cab, 87,000 miles (awaiting any injector problems) and great on fuel so far.

Hi, Ho, Silverado!
Away!

Monitor, you mean trailer brake controller? Sounds like an upgrade is in need. Something that you can feather better. Don't want you to get into an accident.

Welcome to DB. I just picked up my first Duramax too so it looks like we'll be learning together.
