Default Just Arrived

I have had my zuki for a few years and since it has become a trailer queen (read not road worthy junk...) I needed a Tow rig to get it to the places I wheel. I had a 7.3 and it did NOT live up to my needs. I recently bought a 82 chevy suburban 6.2 for $550 cash and drove it 70 miles or so home. I have since started replacing the interior to get it ready for a Labor Day trip to Gilmer for ZK08.

It pulls the zuki like it isn't back there, the trailer is tandem axle with brakes on rear axle. The main reason for getting rid of the truck and going burban was the "way back" has a bed and A/C for camping and my kids can sleep on the front two bench seats.

I have a LOT of plans for it... It is a tailgate style burban now, but I have the rear half of a barn door that will be changed after ZK08, 700R4 might be getting changed for a standard 5 speed with granny. I am going to remove the muffs and open the exhaust just a bit. I am not looking to make a hot rod, but I want it to pull my junk around and of course... IT IS PAID FOR. -
