Default Its TheTonka

Thought I'd check things out over here. I am on a few other forums as well.

I got an'01 F350 CC LB 4x4 6-speed. It has an 80hp tune in the ECU from Jody, 4" Magnaflow from ITP, TN drop in from BWD(soon to be BB), and some other stuff. I use it primarily for towing my custom Universal Trailers Stacker. I DD my Suzuki DL1000.

As for me I am a systems engineer for an aerospace company and am responsible for production test. I am also a homebrewer and currently president of my homebrew club(Currenlty have an Amber ale on tap and a Blonde ale in the fermenter). I offroad and currently we have a Rhino and the boy has a TTR-50. I hope to get a bike or quad this year once I feel I am fully recovered from my shoulder surgery from last year. In a couple years I will be building a new crawler. I miss the crawling since I sold my Willys pickup a couple of years ago.

Anyway, thats me, I'm TheTonka! -

Thanks guys. I don't plan on bombing my beast too much, but I know I will be building new motor in 100K-200K miles. At that point I am looking at either having what I have rebuilt of putting in a Forged Rod short block from DI. I am already looking at getting a set of AC injectors, since Ford specs the stock injector service life at 100K and IH at 200K and I am at 246K I am pretty sure mine are worn out. If I can last I may just hold out for some hybrids.

My ultimate goal will be this truck, with a Forged Rod block, hybrids, BB TN turbo, Spearco CAC, ITP fuel, F5, and a SVO setup to offset fuel costs(not much I can do about 8MPG towing my hauler). -

Heres a pic of my truck and hauler. This was before the hauler was complete. It now has windows, propane tanks on the front and an huge awning on the side. I also don't have the shell on the truck anymore.

Anyone wants my shell they can have it. Its got some missing parts tho. -

Yeah on a trip to my parents in Oregon I was coming down one of the steep grades in Southern Oregon. I crested the top of the hill at about 60, and pulled it out of gear. The wind resistance on the way down the 6% grade slowed me to 50.

Not real nice on my mileage. But at 25K Gross truck and trailer and all that wind resistance 8MPG isn't too bad IMHO. Especially for an old mill with 246K on it. -
