Default Lb7 smoke and lope tunes??

Hey, guys finaly getting efi live on my lb7, and I am wondering if the lope tunes and smoke tunes are bad for the engine. I have heard some people say they can be harmful to the motor but I'm not positive. I don't plan on useing the smoke tune to be stupid and smoke all the time, or smoke out intersections, I just want if for screwing around with friends. Thanks for any help

yes they are hard on the engine, and the fuel system, but its your money and your truck, use it how you like, there are better uses for EFI live then that, like making your truck fly down the 1/4 in under 13 seconds...

Ok, thanks, yeah I am going to be getting a new trans this summer, so I will be pushing more power, but for now I don't have the money to replace my trans so I don't want to be tempted with that much power. But I am going for somewhere between 700hp and 800hp, and run the 1/4 in under 11 sec.

700hp wont get you under 11 sec.... might not even get you under 12 seconds. Especially in a CC.

Ok, thanks guys, I am not sure how much hp I will be able to get, it all depends on the money I make this summer. But I plain on having a fully built motor and trans, with dual cp3's and a bigger turbo and possibly twins. But thanks for the input guys, I appreciate the help. I didn't know I needed so much hp to go 11 sec. Well... I probably sound pretty dumb thinking I can go that fast with that much power, but I'm still kinda new to diesels, so I appreciate you guys helping me out. How fast do you think I can run the 1/4 with that kind of power?
