I have an 01 duramax and i was thinkin about doin the 03-07 body style front end swap? i was just wonderin how many hours it took and are all of the bolt on parts exactly the same? (fenders, hood, bumper).

Everything should matchup just fine. The only problem might be the fit of the intercooler, radiator and such on the front if you get a '06-07 ft end. Should still be the same, just a warning in case they are different. They probably take the same bolt holes, but don't know for sure.

time wise, it's probably a good weekend project with a buddy and a few cases of beer.

i would get a 05-07 front end before i would get a 03-04 front end. I like 01/02s but if want to chnage the front end, get the 05-07 front end.
