this sucks !!! i took my 98 chevy 2wd 6.5 turbo and swaped everything over to my 98 1ton 4door 4x4 and it will not start!! i swaped everything from bumper to bumper!!!

i need help. it tries to start ( 900rpm surge) then nothing then surges again. what could be wrong? the truck ran like it was new untill i did the swap. now nothing I am pulling my hair out!!!!

 

I GOT IT RUNNING !!! I HAD TO PULL THE FUSE FOR THE ECM AND PULL ONE OF THE GLOW PLUGS OFF AND GROUND IT OUT.... THAT RESET IT.
AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP. I NOW OWN A 4X4 4 DOOR LONGBED 6.5 TURBO TRUCK.....NICE.

IT STARTED LIFE OUT AS A 454 GAS TRUCK THAT WAS ONE BIG JOB. IT TOOK ME A WEEK TO DO THE SWAP.
