Default Duramax Codes

I keep getting the P0402 and just got the P2610. The P0402, is either a bad finger stick(Kennedy Diesel) or maybe a bad egr valve. The P2610 has to do with the ecm and I haven't got that one figured out yet.

P0402 ~ Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Flow Excessive

P2610 ~ Control Module Ignition Off Timer Performance

DTC P2610 can be set with a loss of battery voltage to the ECM with the ignition ON. The ignition must be in the OFF position before disconnecting the ECM.

If P2610 is set, turn the ignition OFF and then completely disconnect the ECM harness connector from the ECM for approximately 1 minute. Reinstall all of the ECM connectors and then attempt to clear codes with the scan tool.
⇒ If P2610 resets after code clear, replace the ECM

Can you reset your codes? If you can try that and see if the P0402 comes back, otherwise get ahold of John and see about getting the fingerstick replaced.

I cleared the P0402 and it came back, with no CEL.
I also cleared the P2610, I haven't checked to see if it came back yet.

Did you solder the connections of the FS if not you might redo it and see if that is the problem?

Default Finger Stick

Yeah I did take the time to solder the connections. I couldn't see cobbing together a $40k truck.

These are the 2006 LBZ block heater codes in case anyone is interested.
PO116 (coolant temp)
PO181 (fuel temp)
PO700 (trans requested malfuction indicator lamp)
When I got these my CEL would be on steady, I had no cruise control, and the truck wouldn't shift until about 2300 RPM or so. Hope this helps.
