EFI-Live is supported on both years and will hands down be the best tuner available

On the 2013 it said 17mpg. I got both to 65mph and set cruise the get those #'s on the dash. Their not mine yet so I can't put fuel in and drive them long enough to do the math to see what they actually get.
I don't know about the duramax, but I know the cummins is having issues with the new DEF system...
heard several cases of them failing within a couple thousand miles.
If you live in an emissions/inspections free area, I would get a delete tuner and run with the 09 truck and delete the EGR and DPF. I wouldn't want to deal with a DEF system at all...that's just me though.
I'm sticking with my emissions free 24v cummins
came from the factory with no EGR, no cat, no def dpf or any of that garbage. and with my smarty tuner I can seriously detune the motor to get my huge injectors through emissions even with it hazing at idle
confuses the hell out of the emissions tech because it hazes at idle, but they rev it for the snap test and no smoke!
They're sitting there like
so they pass it and soon as I leave I reflash the ECM back to stock and get all of my power back
