I have an 06 LBZ with ppe hot2, intake, full 5inch exhaust, boost controler and the fass 200gph and it runs right at 15psi and no matter if the programmer is turned all the way up or if the truck is stock, it always pops the low fuel pressure p0087 code when my truck builds around 20psi of constant boost. It will pop the code much sooner when the truck is building around 40psi but thats not very often. I was thinking the regulator was sticking on the cp3 but it is not. Any other ideas?

must have been a bad fuel filter. I changed it out and all is good now. the old filter was still at 95% so only a few thousand mi on it.
what this about shimming the fuel rail? how do i do it? what do i need? should i have someone else do it? who? thanks to all yes its still under warranty but its alot of work to make it dealership friendly and i wanted to take care of this prob myself. you know you have to pay to play. |
