| Chevy/GMC Duramax 07.5 & UP LMM Discussion of Chevy and GMC Trucks with LMM Duramax Turbo Diesel Engines |
Hey guys, recently bought a 2008 GMC 2500 HD and loving it. First diesel for me, although work does supply me with work trucks (fords and this year dodge). Loving the truck, just looking to improve my mileage for now. What are my options? thanks ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

best gain in mpg will be seen when you delete the dpf off of the truck, gets rid of all the emissions stuff on it

Delete the dpf and watch the mileage soar.

well am going to the dealer tomorrow to see about the DPF delete and if it screws the warranty. So far they have been saying mileage will improve the more i drive it and break it in. Looking at a tuner as well so will see. So far highway driving averaging 18-20 MPG empty. -
