Does anyone have the gm part number for the turbo coolant line? I am thinking that it may have preformed bends in it to keep it from kinking when installed. It is the one that runs from the fitting as shown as number 25 on the cooling system parts page to part number 6 on the turbo system parts page.


It busted and started leaking so I pulled it off and tried to replace it with a regular peice of 3/8" and cant get it in place without a kink in it.. I couldn't use the stock line for a template to get the new line the exact length because it cracked in half while I was trying to get it off so I had to cut it off in small peices.. I ended up having to pull the connector (part 6) and use a scotch brite pad on a die grinder to clean all of the rubber off.. I have tried 5 different lines ranging from what i thought would be the perfect length then cut it off in 1/2" increments until it was too short. then I started again with one I knew was too long. I started ti use a piece that was about 18" long and just making a loop in it but didnt have enough hose..
