Some mornings when I first start the engine, the turbo charger and air intake tubes just howls. The sound is actually pretty cool, but it only lasts for about two or three minutes, then it just goes away and the the normal air intake hiss returns. This phenomenon occurs sporadically and does not seem to be connected to any particular ambient air temperature, or humidity condition. It happens about , well lets say once every week and a half to two weeks, with no apparent weather condition connection to the previous occurrence. Maybe howling isn't the right word to describe the unusual sound, maybe jet engine whine is the right word. In any case , it ever happened to any one else out there in Bomber land? Maybe I'm just going crazy? In any case, thanks in advance for any help you might have in regard to my weird sound.

 

Could you try to get a video of the sound the next time you hear it?... I dont know I understand exactly what you're trying to describe

 

Thanks, that is a good idea, I'll do that as soon as I can. Just now I'm putting in a new alternator, hope that wasn't the source of the sometimes howl. We'll see...
