Default LBZ EGR motor

My EGR motor has quit working but the egr valve and sensors are fine. The CEL is on. My dealer has the motor ordered, but with with this bankrupcy crap has parts delayed.

My question is: Will it hurt anything to run it pulling a 10000lb travel trailer?

I would not worry about the EGR or CEL. Once boost comes up the valves may continue to open/close but that will not affect anything. I have a LBZ egr blocking plate that I am not using if you decide to just block it off.

Just as jpowel said.. it wont hurt a thing.. If you decide to fix it for whatever reason, I would block it off even afterwards. You could also look into the EGR delete kits for our LBZ's. It will make your truck lighter, and trim the fat and make room for TWINS!

Click this link for our price quote section >> Price Quote - Request A Price - Diesel Bombers

Start a new thread asking for prices on EGR Blocker plates for your model. If you dont have a tuner to block the CEL that is accompanied by blocking the EGR system off, ask for a finger stick as well.

If you are wanting a full EGR delete kit, Im sure our vendors can help with that as well.
