Default Transmission Problem

I have a 2005 duramax with an allison transmission at take off or after letting off of the throttle and reapplying the throtlle I have alittle play in the transmission. Does anyone have any suggestions what it might be or know a good transmission shop for allisons in the Winchester, VA area or around there.

I change the filter with every oil change

Sounds like you might have some shift flare or a sloppy tq converter

there is also an internal filter, sometimes it can wiggle around causing a small vacum leak on accel and decel
