hello, i am new to the whole diesel world, but i just bought a 04 gmc sierra slt crew cab short box, in amazing shape! and got a pretty good deal on it.

the truck is totally stock accept for blintein 9000 adjustable shocks, new style GM rims, and a banks air intake, and the guy says it has a 75hp "tow tune"

my question is, what kind of programmer would work best in this truck? my friend with a 06 lbz has a EFI live and swears by it. or would i be better to start with exhaust? or other upgrades? im not willing to build the tranny right now, i dont want to change alot of the truck, or atleast for now. just lookin for help on what to do with it first
