Default No low end power, no smoke, please help!!

I'm seeking assistance I came from the Duramaxforum board with no luck. anyways here is a quick run down of the problem.

stock tune I have decent power, nothing too impressive kinda feels like its not running tip top, but I can still "Power Brake" it for example and spin the tires.

PPE Xcelerator installed I have NO power low end can't even power brake it because it needs to wait until about 2500RPM then the turbo spools up real quickly and takes off shifts through the gears real fast. this entire time I dont get any smoke at all, not even a lil black puff while im waiting for it to spool up with the pedal smashed to the floor. I approach a small incline and I'm screwed gotta drive it manually cause cruise control keeps violently dropping from 5th to 4th spool up shoot 5mph past set CC speed then drops down and repeat.

So far I have Changed the fuel filter, called PPE and they said "Well change it again" and got upset when I told them I just replaced it and it still runs like crap in the low end. I dont have any check engine codes. stopped by the dealer today and had their diesel tech take a quick look at it and he said it sounded normal just runs like a pig til it gets to high rpms. suggested possibly needing a lift pump. however they drove it with the tech 2 hooked up and said everything appeared to be fine, balance rates, fuel pressure got up around 22,000 at the rail. only thing he said was the oil pressure was slightly low but nothing to be worried about.

I hope somebody can help me with this problem I'm desperate!

Boost EGT readings? Have you tried updating the tuner and reflashing the truck?

04DirtyMax- Not sure if you ever got your truck fixed?? I have an 05 LLY that threw a P0089 and it was the Fuel Pressure Regulator. I had the same issue. Mat it and nothing but a pig out of the hole then get to 50...and its off like a rocket. I trouble shot with a tech and he said its the only possible thing left. Lift pump is good that I put on and shimmed the Fuel valve. I deleted the front stock filter this morning as I had trouble trying to keep it running longer than 8seconds but I hope this helps someone if you got yours handled....

UPDATE...Bought the FPR but didn't install yet. After contacting Bob at Duramax tuner... we trouble shot.. Fuel rail pressures between actual and recommended were not apart at all through the power ranges. My P0089 never came back after that one time so we discredited that. He told me to clean my filter and mass air flow sensor on the cold intake. Autozone CRC MAF sensor cleaner. Take it out and clean it but leave the wires attached. Spray well, let dry and put it back in. I am running an Airaid intake with oil. He said not use the oil in the filter it will gum up your (MAF sensor). Before all this my Edge Evolution was MAF reading...it would jump on high end of 24 down to 2 and all around. After the above process 54-55 at idle All power has returned from bottom to top and I'm happy. I was even thinking of putting in a PPE race plug in as I have heard the shim on the FPRV spring can get tired after 5 months but so far no need to change. I hope this helps someone...

Forgot to mention I was throwing a P102 MAF code and check engine light.
