Duramax wont start without using starting fluid help!

And if you do decide to rebuild the filter housing/primer Autozone sells the o-ring kit for $23. So does Oreilly's.

I found it a LOT easier to do this if I took off the one heater hose and I also removed the heater wire from the housing instead of screwing with that troublesome wire connector for the fuel heater.

No diesel engine needs glow plugs to start in 80 degree weather. If it does you have other problems.

The Duramax fuel system sucks. Put a transfer pump on it!!!

Send me a phone number and I'll give you a call and tell you an inexpensive way to do it.
