I had similar problems when I had changed my injectors and cp3. First, check the bleeder screw on top of fuel filter housing and make sure is tight and not leaking. The factory ones are plastic and are bad to crack. If leaking, this will cause a loss of prime. If okay, next you may want to remove fuel filter and fill with clean fuel and replace. This will bypass having to hand prime the filter. Truck should then start on fuel that's in the filter. If still have a lot of air in the lines, truck may only run 30 seconds or so until it sucks filter dry of fuel. If so, repeat process a couple of times. If still continues to shut off after several seconds, filter continuing to be sucked dry, you may want to check and make sure supply pump inside tank is working. Just like on a gas vehicle, should be able to turn key to on position, listening carefully for a humming sound from tank area. (First time I started mine, had to crank for about 30 seconds before it would start) ... Good Luck !!!
Let me know how it turns out.
