Default 2007 GMC LBZ - Nictane CAT Fuel Filter Adapter

I recently just threw on my Nictane CAT Fuel Filter and I'm having some issues with the vacuum number being WAY out of spec...GM Spec should be around 2-3 inches of vacuum and I'm getting upwards of 20in of vacuum! Are these 2 micron filters know to cause such drastic strain on the factory pumps?! What is suggested I do?

Okay, I just called Nick with Nictane and he told me what I did...I forgot to remove the spring and check-ball...dammit! Nonetheless, it's being addressed now.

This may be a good time to delete this thread of one...
