Fuel filter line replacement question
New to the forumn guys. Recently picked up a 01 Silverado 6.6. I'm going through it and I did a search and I know the fuel lines coming from the fuel filter are common to be dried/cracked and I know they sell a top canister rebuild kit with hoses.
I would really like to make my own. Rather than taking the hoses off first and finding a ride to the store. Does anyone know the size, thread of the fittings for the top of the filter? I want to get 4 fittings and 1/2 high pressure hose for push lock seal.
Thanks guys

I used 1/2 ID rubber fuel hose.
clear would be nice so you can see if there is any air getting into the fuel. clear vinyl hose would work but kinks and flattens too easily. would not be in issue with a lift pump but then air wont get in so a clear hose would be unnecessary anyways
when I tried to remove the fittings from the filter they did not budge. I don't think they are threaded, likely pressed in.
