01 duramax balance rates

Default 01 duramax balance rates

I have a 01 duramax. Will a blown head gasket affect balance rates?

if it is bad enough that it will lower compression or leak fluids into the cylinder then yes. it is likely that it would be only a small amount though.

what is your readings now?

Just did injectors a few months ago. Got about 4 that are right at spec.

in park it should be no more then +-4, in drive no more then +-6
