So i am looking at buying an 03 Chevy 2500 but it is throwing a pressure sensor code from the trans. But the real issue is that it will only drive a few feet in drive then kick out of gear, but will drive in reverse. I want it and I am getting an amazing deal on it but please help.

sounds like the pressure switch manifold (or more likely the NSBU switch - Neutral Safety Back Up) has gone kaput or a bad wire.

the NSBU is easy to replace and fairly cheep

Default tranny help.

I have a 03 LB7. With 101k miles. The truck is 2 wheel drive. It often won't come out of gear. The light indicator. Or linkage. Flashes and the message center reads. SHIFT RANGE INHIBITED?. Yesterday the truck took about 1/4 tp shift out of first. At a steady 2,200 rpm. Runs fine after that. Untill i shut it off and start it again. Where is this sensor located

possibly the nsbu switch

also, check fluid level and filter. doesn't sound like a sensor to me
