lb7 bad injector

Default lb7 bad injector

found out today rough idle was bad injector. my question is it safe to only change 1 bank of injectors or change both sides?

When I replaced mine last year I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that they all should be replaced. 1st being that the LB7 is notorious for the injectors going so the others will probably go soon. And 2 being the cost of the labor once they are in there doing the work you might as well let them do them all. And a little advice make sure you replace all the crush sleeves also and don't buy cheap injectors, or you will be doing it again soon.

if you are doing it yourself then you can replace one side. it is not much more time to tare down the other side once you are that far so most will replace all 8.

if money is tight and you are sure that your problem is only one one side then go ahead and replace only that side. if you are having a shop do it then get all 8 done
