Default vacuum wastegate question??

Should the bar on the wastegate move on its own when your driving or what im pretty new to 6.5L so i really dont know. Also i plan on buying the turbo master boost controller form heath diesel sometime soon but until then i want to make sure everything is working right.
Thanks

Yes it is, that's how it controls the amount of boost.

the turbo master is 110% worth buying. that vaccum gives you like 3-5 psi, heath can give you at least 10

it takes like 20 mins. you have to take off the air box and thats really it. watch out for the bolts on the heat shield on the turbo, spray them down they could break

no you dont, what i did was took the bottom half off the vaccum pump so it runs as an idler, and wiring the wastegate shut is a good way to grenade your motor. it over boosts the motor beyond belief. i wouldnt do it!!

get the max-e-tork from heath, anything heath sells is usually top product for the 6.5
they know their stuff over there
